A John Deere Bucket Holder is a must-have in your attachment collection due to the easy, tool-free install and its versatility.

These bucket holders are available in both single and double bucket options and fit most John Deere mowers with CargO-Mount systems on the back. They will securely attach any 5-gal bucket to your mower and have a sturdy construction that will carry up to 40 pounds on the single-bucket option and 80 pounds on the double-bucket option.

Possible applications for this attachment are yard cleanup, watering, or seeding, adding weight to the rear of your mower, or even toting gardening supplies. The possibilities of this attachment are endless.

In this kit:

  • Instruction manual
  • Bucket bracket
  • Mounting support brackets
  • Keeper pins

Installing your bucket holder

Start the install process by connecting the two support brackets to the bucket bracket. Insert the end of the bucket bracket into one of the two notched holes located at the end of the support bracket. Work the support bracket up until it reaches the position shown below, then repeat on the other side. When in place, the notched holes should fall into a locked position on the bucket bracket.

As we stated above, the support brackets have two notched holes. The hole you choose for install will depend on your mower and the distance between its CargO-Mount system and the notches on the back of the tractor.

Next, place the other ends of the support brackets into the notches on the back of the tractor. Once secured, lift the bucket bracket up and place each end into the smallest hole on the CargO-Mount system. Follow with the keeper pins underneath to secure the hold and place your bucket into the holder, like shown.
